The Oyaide P-029 / C-029 / C-029e connectors are the entry models in Oyaide’s P/C series, using non-plated brass contacts for a direct, “nothing-added” contact interface. They’re designed to take serious cable girth (~6.5–17.0mm outer diameter) and up to 5.5sq / 10AWG conductors, with ratings that vary by model (e.g., P-029: 125V/15A, and C-029: 125V/15A or 250V/16A, depending on region/spec). The housings focus on rigidity and stability—30% glass-filled PBT for insulation and stiffness, plus non-magnetic stainless hardware and a strong strain-relief design intended to resist pull-out.
Furutech FP-203-10G (FP-203(R)/(G)) spade terminals are used to secure the conductors to the socket/screw terminals with a firm mechanical clamp, helping maintain a stable, low-resistance contact at the termination point.
