Oyaide’s VONDITA is a premium 3-core cab-tyre power cable built around 102SSC copper (live/neutral/earth) with 4.0sq conductors (~11AWG) using Oyaide’s “Special 4E” stranding. It pairs high-molecular polyolefin insulation with a copper-foil shield for noise control, then finishes with a durable multi-layer sheath (PVC + polyolefin) at a nominal ~13.0mm outer diameter—basically, a thick, serious mains cable designed for low resistance and solid shielding.
Oyaide P-029 / C-029 / C-029e sit as the entry point of Oyaide’s P/C series, using non-plated brass contacts (simple, direct contact interface) and a robust body that’s made to clamp down on chunky cable. They’re designed for ~6.5–17.0mm cable outer diameter and up to AWG10 (5.5sq) conductors, with typical ratings around 125V/15A depending on variant/region.
Oyaide C-046 / P-046 / P-046e are the “reference-grade” step up, using deoxidized phosphor bronze contacts that are buff-polished, then plated with thick 24K gold (1.5μ) + palladium (0.3μ) for corrosion resistance and a stable interface over time. This series is commonly associated with a more premium, tightly-engineered mechanical build (strong clamping/holding power and vibration control), and the C-046 variant is widely sold as an IEC C15 connector for high-quality power cords.
Oyaide P-004 / C-004 / P-004e move into higher-end materials: beryllium copper contacts (high conductivity + spring integrity), heat treated for electromechanical stability, and plated with platinum (0.5μ) + palladium (0.3μ). The design emphasizes a large, rigid contact surface (often cited as 1.0mm thick / 6.0mm wide) and strong grip/holding force, while still accommodating fat builds (commonly 6.5–17.0mm OD, up to AWG10/5.5sq).
Oyaide M1 / F1 / M1e / F1-20A are the premium-series plugs/connectors, again using beryllium copper contacts with platinum + palladium dual-layer plating, plus a very rigid “armored” style housing concept (often described as a monocoque structure) to reduce micro-movement and vibration at the contact point. The series is built for high-end cables (commonly 6.5–17.0mm OD, up to AWG10/5.5sq) and includes higher-current options like F1-20A (IEC C19) with ratings shown as 125V/20A (and also listed as 250V/16A in some specs).
To secure the conductors to the socket terminals, Furutech FP-203(R)/(G) spade terminals (sold as 4 pcs/set) are used—α (Alpha) pure copper spades with either rhodium or 24k gold plating, designed for soldered or press connections and specified for cable diameters up to 4mm.
