Rather than committing to a single conductor material, Zonotone blends four different wire types — ultra-high purity 7N copper, thickly silver-plated OFC, high-purity crystalline PCOCC and high-purity oxygen-free copper — across multiple gauges, hybridised in the company's proprietary golden ratio. The result is a conductor that borrows the best traits of each metal: the speed and openness of silver, the body and warmth of copper, and an uncommon coherence across the frequency range.Each channel carries 2.12mm² of conductor — roughly double the metal of typical cables at this level — arranged in a quadri-star quad configuration: heterogeneous independent two-layer 4-core conductors (equivalent to an 8-core core), diagonally paired into hot and cold. Signal purity is protected by high-purity polyethylene insulation, a low conductor resistance of just 18.5mΩ/m, and a double shield of thick aluminium wrap plus high-density copper braid — so noise stays out and micro-detail stays in.
