Who we are

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases made through cyruscables.com.au, operated by Cyrus Cables Pty Ltd ("Cyrus Cables", "we", "us") of Bondi Junction, Sydney, Australia. You can reach us at dean@cyruscables.com.au.

Our products

Every cable we sell is made to order: cut to your chosen length and hand-terminated in our Sydney workshop using Japanese wire (brands include Oyaide, Zonotone, SAEC, Acrolink and S/A Lab) with Furutech, Oyaide, Zonotone, Neutrik or generic connectors. Product pages describe each model and the configurable options. Because every build is custom, small variations in finish are normal and do not constitute defects. Used and ex-demo items are described individually and sold in the condition shown.

Orders and payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown beside each price, which you can change using the selector in the footer. Orders are charged in the displayed currency.
Your order is created as pending payment. Production and dispatch begin only after payment is received and confirmed.
Payment options are shown at checkout and may include bank transfer / PayID, card (Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay via our secure payment page) and Afterpay / Zip where available.
Bank transfer payments must quote your order number as the payment reference so we can match your payment promptly.
International orders include a flat processing fee, shown in the order summary before you place the order. US orders include a tariff surcharge, also shown before purchase.

Production and dispatch

Custom builds are typically produced within 2 to 3 weeks of payment confirmation, and marketplace items usually dispatch within 0 to 2 weeks. We will email you when your order is dispatched (with tracking where applicable) or ready for pickup in Bondi Junction.

Shipping, customs and import taxes

Shipping is quoted at checkout from live Australia Post rates based on your destination and the estimated packed weight of your order. Australian orders over the free-shipping thresholds shown at checkout ship free. Pickup in Bondi Junction is available for Australian orders.

For international orders, your country's import taxes, duties and any carrier handling fees are payable by you on arrival. These charges are set by your authorities and are outside our control. Your checkout total does not include them unless expressly stated otherwise. If you would like to discuss how your parcel is declared at customs, contact us before ordering.

Returns and warranty

Our returns policy and warranty form part of these terms. For Australian customers, nothing in these terms excludes the guarantees that apply under Australian Consumer Law. For international orders, a 3-month warranty applies as described on the warranty page. As every cable is made to order, we cannot accept change-of-mind returns on custom-built cables.

Accuracy of information

We work hard to keep product descriptions, specifications and prices accurate, but errors can occur. If an error affects your order, we will contact you before production with the option to proceed at the corrected terms or cancel for a full refund.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that product or order. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be limited under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute is subject to the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
