The FI-8.1N series has improved sound quality and durability. In addition, the newly developed cable clamp section provides stable grip and controls resonance. A special material called "NCF" is mixed into the main body as a countermeasure against static electricity, resulting in a dramatic effect. By reducing the external dimensions, it is now compatible with models that previously could not use audio-grade inlet plugs (glasses type).
