Oyaide’s ACROSS 3000 is the updated flagship of the ACROSS speaker-cable line, rebuilt around the company’s 102SSC “precision conductor” and Misuzu Electric Wire’s patented “3E stranding” (three strand diameters for a denser, more uniform conductor) while keeping the series’ signature C.I.S. (Cross Insulated Stabilizer) structure—a cruciform insulation design that uses an air layer as a damper to lower capacitance and improve high-frequency behavior. Compared with the older ACROSS 2000, it upsizes the conductor to 3.0sq (37/-3E, ~13AWG) and reduces resistance to about 0.63 Ω/100 m, and it’s finished with polyolefin/PE insulation plus Oyaide’s halogen-free audio sheath for mechanical stability and a clean, neutral, “stress-free” spatial presentation.
