Oyaide’s DST-75 V2 is a true 75Ω coaxial digital cable designed to minimize dielectric loss using a “Cordell structure”—a near air-insulation approach where a PE string spirals around the center conductor to create an air layer for cleaner high-frequency transmission. It uses a 1.05mm solid-core 102SSC center conductor, plus double shielding (a 100% coverage copper foil layer and a ~90% coverage 102SSC braided shield) to clamp down on external noise, and finishes with a PE outer sheath for a good balance of electrical performance and flexibility (outer diameter ~6.6mm). It’s positioned as a practical, high-performance option for digital-coax applications—think stable, low-loss transmission and strong interference rejection for S/PDIF-style links and other 75Ω signal runs.
