100V Japanese voltage: this is a Japan-spec unit. It suits JP-spec equipment, or Australian use through a step-down transformer. Ask us first if you are unsure.
The Crystal 2P2 is a branching tap with a point of view: digital and analogue gear should not share a power line. The incoming line splits inside into two filtered systems, one for digital components that spray noise back into the line, one for the analogue gear you'd rather kept quiet.
It also carries a Panasonic surge absorber (7kV rating) for storm protection, two IEC C13 link outlets so other Crystal taps can hang off either branch, and a link plate for rigid joining. The M.I.S. chassis and damping-alloy spacers are present as always.
For a mixed system of streamers and analogue stages, this is the neatest first step in power-line separation.
- Splits into separate digital and analogue power lines
- Surge absorber fitted (Panasonic, 7kV class)
- 2 outlets + 2 IEC C13 link outlets
- M.I.S. vibration-isolated chassis, link plate included
