The Joker8+VPs is KOJO TECHNOLOGY's 35th anniversary statement: a power conditioner that ignores the usual formula and attacks noise with the company's virtual-earth know-how instead. It is a supervised Jtune model, limited and unapologetically different.
Eight outlets split into two systems: three direct-line outlets for power amplifiers and other current-hungry gear, and five filtered outlets for players and control amplifiers. A ninth outlet is reserved for a Crystal Eop-series plug-in virtual earth, dropping the earth-line impedance further. Inside, the wiring is PCB-based and symmetrically laid out, with overload protection, a surge absorber and KOJO's M.I.S.+β vibration control.
For a full system that deserves one serious power hub, this is KOJO at its most inventive.
- 8 outlets: 3 direct-line, 5 filtered
- 1 dedicated virtual-earth outlet (Crystal Eop series)
- Virtual-earth impedance reduction on power and earth lines
- Overload protection (circuit protector) + surge absorber
- M.I.S.+β vibration control structure
