What is precision conductor “102 SSC”?

• As a result of advanced manufacturing control, the conductivity is 102.3% IACS (at the end of copper elongation)
• To avoid contamination with impurities as much as possible, we use only virgin copper, which does not contain any recycled copper, even among JIS C1011 compliant copper.
• A natural diamond die is used to improve the surface smoothness of the wire.

What is the insulator “XLPE”?

It is an insulator used as an insulating material in industrial electric wires, and has excellent heat resistance and voltage resistance.
It is slippery, easy to strip, and has excellent workability.
The heat resistance temperature is also rated at 150℃, making it difficult to melt even with soldering heat.

• Conforms to American UL standard AWM Style 3398 (excluding 3398-SY and 3398-24).
• Oyaide Electric's original precision conductor "102SSC" is used for audio.
• The insulator uses XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) whose molecular structure has been strengthened by electron beam irradiation.
• XLPE exhibits high heat resistance (rated at 150°C) and high withstand voltage (rated at 300V, peak voltage 600V), and is resistant to melting even in the heat of soldering, making it highly workable.
• In addition to 5 types of conductor thickness: AWG14/16/18/22/24, a 1-core shield (3398-SY) is also available.
• 3398-SY has a 34-wire spiral shield that eliminates gaps between wires and exhibits excellent shielding effects.PVC is used for the outer sheath to ensure excellent flexibility.
