However, production of the first generation ACROSS series will end in 2013 due to the discontinuation of the PCOCC-A conductor.After many difficulties, we created the "Precision Conductor 102 SSC" to replace PCOCC-A, and commercialized the new ACROSS series using this conductor*.Now, the only remaining speaker cable in the ACROSS series, "ACROSS 2000," has been upgraded to "ACROSS 3000" with "Precision Conductor 102 SSC."
“ACROSS 3000” introduces precision conductor “102SSC” and Mishu Electric Wire’s patented technology “3E twist”.While the basic structures such as C.I.S. structure and coaxial twin conductor are inherited from the first generation, the conductor cross-sectional area has been upsized by 1.5 times compared to ACROSS 2000 (2.0Sq⇒3.0Sq). - In order to avoid contamination with impurities as much as possible, we only use virgin copper, which does not contain any recycled copper, even among JIS C1011 compliant copper.

“3E twist” is a patented technology that twists wires of three different thicknesses.
The 3E stranded structure is a concentric stranded conductor with a concentric strand arrangement, and the stranded wire arrangement is made denser by arranging three different wire diameters.This makes it possible to reduce the diameter of the conductor configuration, improving conductor characteristic values.These three wires with different conductor diameters are arranged geometrically to minimize the gaps between the wires and improve the wire density.
Furthermore, the outer diameter of the stranded wire has been downsized, maintaining a stable and highly accurate outer diameter, and the cross section after twisting is a perfect circle, making it a unique conductor structure in the world.This allows the insulator and conductor to adhere evenly, eliminating random thickness of the insulator and making it uniform.We strive to stabilize the electrical characteristics by always keeping the distance to the shield uniform.
