The INS-SQ is crafted from high-precision cut smoky quartz (natural smoke crystal), radiating an amber-smoke crystalline beauty. With a Mohs hardness of 7, specific gravity of 2.6, and trigonal SiO₂ crystal structure, it offers both durability and a unique sonic signature.
Among over 70 natural stones evaluated by Oyaide, smoky quartz stood out for its delicate, realistic tonal character. The sound is enveloping and glossy—as if the room fills with fine particles of sound—making it ideal for listeners who value spatial realism and tonal refinement.
Each piece is cut and mirror-polished by a domestic jeweler. The compact size is compatible with the INS-BS base for stacked configurations. Four pieces per set.
