The MWA-010T is a narrow-format noise-suppression tape from Oyaide's acclaimed MWA series. It uses Sendust alloy—a magnetic material with high loss characteristics—to absorb noise components in the GHz band and convert them into Joule heat, effectively eliminating them.
Sendust alloy was developed in Sendai, Japan in the 1930s and consists of aluminum, iron, and silicon dioxide. Oyaide succeeded in processing this traditionally difficult material into flat powder with an insulating oxide film for safe, effective EMI absorption.
At just 10 mm wide, it is ideal for wrapping around smaller connectors, USB cables, and signal lines. Apply near power entry points and input/output terminals for improved S/N, resolution, and response in audio; reduced blur and enhanced color clarity in video.
