The KE02 sleeves give discs the same static treatment as the KE01 gives records. Optical media pick up charge from cases and handling, and a charged disc collects dust and can throw read errors at exactly the wrong moment. These soft sleeves attenuate the charge and protect the surface at the same time.
Sold in tens for the current rotation and thirties for the shelf. Replace them when they get dirty; they're a consumable, not an heirloom.
