EXPLORER V2 is Oyaide’s purist speaker cable — essentially nothing but conductor and insulation, built around the in-house 102SSC precision copper rated at an exceptional 102.3% IACS conductivity. The two 0.75sq conductors are mounted in parallel using a concentric triple-layer stranding that packs the copper to maximum density without twisting or deforming the strands, while the air space between the hot and cold legs damps vibration and limits interference. A flexible Flex PE (polyethylene) insulation and a flat, rectangular profile make it easy to route neatly behind racks and along skirting boards. A transparent, uncoloured cable that comfortably outperforms its price — ideal for bookshelf and stand-mount systems, surround channels and shorter runs.
